This booklet critically examines the phenomenon of protest movements which used women’s nudity and sexuality to affect social and political change. Organizations such as PETA, Femen, and Slut Walk overtly used a sex sells approach in order to sell social change. However, a decade later, these tactics seem not only crude but have typically been revealed to have been exploitative and ineffective.
